Mennonites have traditionally been active in sending missionaries to other places - MBMS/I (Mennonite Brethren Board of Missions and Services/International) and have also been highly significant in helping people who have little - MCC (Mennonite Central Committee) or have been through a disaster - MDS (Mennonite Disaster Service). We also believe it is important to be prudent and faithful with our resources and to help us do that, we have MMA (Mennonite Mutual Aid). Higher education with a Christian emphasis has had a significant effect on numerous members and attenders of FMBC. They have experienced that at Tabor College, a four year Christian Liberal Arts institute and now Tabor College Wichita, which is geared towards adult professional studies.
