MCC Work Day
On Tuesday, October 7, there will be a work day at the MCC Warehouse in North Newton from 9:00am-3:00pm You are welcome to carpool from the church leaving at 8:30am or meet at the warehouse at 9am.

For the Girls
Single moms, an evening just for you! You are invited to a night of laughter & encouragement on Friday, Oct. 10 at Central Christian Church. Janine Turner (remember Northern Exposure?), will be the special guest. The event is from 7- 8:30 pm with a Meet & Greet Party for the 1st 800 ticket-holders. You can get your FREE tickets at Perfect Peace, Family Christian Store East and at Central Christian Church. Limited childcare is available by calling 688-4400.

Attention Women
Women’s Ministry invites ladies to attend the Fall Friendship Connection “Let Your Light Shine” October 21 @ 6 p.m. FMBC Auditorium Tickets will be $10 per person & includes decorated tables & dinner catered by Bella Luna. Our speaker for the event is Cori Schmidt from Broken Arrow, OK. Cori is a former FMBC attender, speaker, teacher, mom, wife, nurse, and friend to many. Her message on “Consider the Source” will be relevant to all who want to stay “plugged in” to the only source that has true power and light! Also look forward to a fashion show by Wild @ Heart with models from our own congregation,special music, door prizes & more!
Doors will open at 6 p.m. for viewing of the tables and dinner will start at 6:30 p.m.
Ladies are invited to purchase tickets in the foyer Sundays 9-28 through 10-19,through Sunday School classes or by calling Tammy Ratzlaff at 721-3274.Because of catering, all tickets must be purchased by October 19th.

55+ Gathering
The 55+ GATHERING in 2008 of Boomer, Builders and Beyond, sponsored by the Southern District Conference is schedulee to meet in Branson MO, October 27-29. The goal of this gathering of senior adults is to experience enriching fellowship and life-long learning in our relationships with Jesus Christ and with one another throughout our district of churches.
Pre-registrations are near capacity, however additional registrations are welcome through September 27, if space is available. Interested persons should contact the district office in Wichita (316-722-8680) or pick up a brochure with the reservation form available at the information desk in the foyer.

Holy Land Trip
