Discover, Connect, Serve
Ministries
Kids:
At First Mennonite Brethren Church (FMBC), kids
matter! Our ministries are designed to impact children
with the message of Christ's love and salvation, to help
them grow in knowledge and faith, and to encourage
discovery of their uniqueness in service to Christ. It is
our prayer that FMBC children will become lifelong
followers of Jesus and "shine like stars in the universe
as they hold out the word of life." We are a community
of people who come from a variety of backgrounds and
experiences with the same goals of:
- serve Jesus
- love and support each other
- love and support our neighbors and friends

Jr. High:
Our Junior High students have lots of opportunities to
learn, grow, and serve while having fun. They meet for
Sunday School at 9:30 and 11:00 AM on Sunday
mornings in the Jr. High room. On Sunday evenings
they have Discipleship Groups at 5:00pm. Wednesday
evenings they meet at 6:45pm for a time of playing
and being together.

Sr. High:
Our Senior High students have lots of opportunities to
learn, grow, and serve while having fun. They meet for
Sunday School at 11:15 a.m. on Sunday mornings in
the Sr. High room. On Wednesday evenings they meet
at 7:00 p.m. in four different homes in Discipleship
groups.
College/Young Adult:
The Young Adult/College Ministries is a new venture
and adventure. Many are pitching in! If you are in
college or out and joining the working world full time,
you are welcome. check the foyer of the church for
more information as well as this web page.

Adults:
There are many opportunities for adults at FMBC.
Sunday mornings you can find many adults gathered
together in Adult Bible Fellowship groups. They meet at
8:30, 9:45 and 11:15 for about 1 hour. There are also
a number of small groups that are active and you can
contact Steve Fast (About Us - Staff) for more
information. Women's Ministry has numerous activities
and groups to be involved in including small groups,
Mom's Day Out, Mom's Carelink, Girlfriend Clubs,
retreats and many others. Men's ministry is also
providing activities and opportunities to the men of the
church. The PrimeTimers focus their efforts towards
older adults.

Primetimers:
The name PRIMETIMERS reflects the idea that adults
who are 55 and over have both self worth and
significance in God's eyes and are known as 'Builders
and Boomers' in our culture.

PrimeTimers view the present as a time of reflection,
learning, service and renewal. PrimeTimers promote
these goals:
* Live Well
* Laugh Often
* Love Much
* Learn More
* Lean Hard

During this time of life they have an opportunity to use
their gifts and contribute through experience, skills,
knowledge, and other resources they have developed
over the years.
* Growing old is mandatory
* Growing up is optional
